Vintage jewelry box by Dralle, Germany 1930s

Beautiful vintage jewelry box by Dralle made in Germany in the 1930s. Georg Dralle company was founded in Hamburg, Germany, in the 1880s. After Georg's death in 1895, the company was taken over by Eduard Dralle, and later by his sons. They created wonderful perfumes, and many of their early works are in collections and museums. This vintage jewelry box is a prime example of their excellent work. This is a metal jewelry/knick-knacks/soap box with Art Deco elements on the top and sides and a domed lid containing a real "butterfly". It has 4 stand legs, a golden felt lining inside, and Dralle is written in convex font on the base. If you are a collector of perfumes, this excellent, vintage jewelry box is for you.
