Vintage ceramic vase, Italy 1971

Vintage ceramic vase Blue Peacock’s Feather pattern made in Italy in the 1971-72. Hand-painted Italian majolica albarello vase with a traditional peacock feather pattern or "penna di pavone". An albarello is a special cylindrical bowl with a narrow waist and a short neck, historically used as pharmacy vessels for storing herbs and medicines. Very good vintage condition. There is a signature of the author Ribelli Ambba. The vase was created at the state art school Gargniano.
