These neoclassical elements, typical of the Louis XVI style, refer to the Greek and Roman cultures. The bronze casting is made of very high quality, with clear details and a pleasant, natural golden patina formed from time to time. Very often, such sconces are designed for use with electric lighting — the same one has not been changed and is still intended for use as a candleholder.
